DICE, an EA studio, today announced that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is on pace to become the fastest downloaded demo* in EA history. "We couldn't be more thrilled to hear that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is already in the hands of almost 2½ million gamers, and it hasn't even shipped yet," said Patrick Bach, Senior Producer on Battlefield: Bad Company 2. "This massive rush to experience the game early is proof positive that action gamers are looking for more. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 delivers on every front. This is intelligent, strategic warfare that our competitors simply cannot replicate."
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be in stores on March 2, 2010 in North America and March 4, 2010 in Europe for the Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and the PC. It's getting a lot of good reviews. They say the single player is a bit short but the multiplayer is amazing (some reviewers have even said it is better than COD Modern Warfare 2).

OK fellas I bought Battlefield Bad Company 2 and i must say its a pretty awesome game.
First off the single player campaign is really fun yes alittle short but the 12-13 levels are pretty good your always shooting or ducking... The cool thing is that each level/map sometimes has certain things you can do for example you have to do the normal objectives but also there are weapons you can unlock by finding them on the map. Once you find a weapon you can use it in the single player campaign. Also there are these objectives you have to arm called M-Com stations some maps have like 3 or 4 of these stations you have to find per map. I'm guessing something nice gets unlocked after you find all on every map.
The good thing is that the single player campaign is replay-able for sure, 3 difficulty settings and all the Weapons/M-Coms will make you replay the map over and over.
The multi-player action is champion!
Theres about 11 or 13 maps. The ones i played so far have been really vast and easy to learn.
Here are the different online play modes:
Conquest = Is a capture the flag type of gameplay.
Deathmatch = You just have to make as many kills as possible
Rush = Is when your team have to defend or attack these special M-Com stations by arming them.
Team Rush = Same as above but you have to do it as a team (i think not tried it yet)
The good thing about multi-player is that the more kills you make the more achievements you gain (e.g. if you do 7 kill streaks you get a medal pretty much all the latest fps games have this now) ... Ok so after a round all your medals get tallied up as points and depending on what weapon class you earned the medals on. Each time you earn the points you can unlock certain weapons or gadgets depending on the class. Keep using the recon class and you get other sniper weapon's, better scopes etc.
Theres alot of hours online game play here for sure.
I wont go on for too much longer so ill keep this brief.
Game Play: 5 stars from me so far
Graphics: Pretty nice almost a cross between Crysis and CODMW2
Plus points:
- There are so many servers and most are 32 player slots and they are full all the time and no lag even when full of 32 players.
- Good online play as well as single player campaign
- Fun to play never a dull moment
- Lots of weapons and gadgets to unlock
- Achievements system is cool
Minus Points:
- The auth servers have been flooded with players so from time to time you cannot connect to EA online or sometimes mid way you get disconnected but im sure this will improve, dont get it wrong this only happens every now and then.
- Very slow to view multiplayer server list hope this changes.
- Could of been 2 single player campaigns one US and the other Russian but still the US campaign is good.
I just checked how many people are playing it right now. This is at 13:50 GMT so many of the US players wont be playing right now. Thats shows how popular this game is.
Player Online: 54,650
Server Online: 4,683
Its not as expensive as CODMW2 and some say its better then that. If any of you are looking to buy a new game i would seriously consider this one for sure !!
Hmm well it depends where your from and also where you buy, i got mine from steam for £35 if i wanted to buy CODMW2 from steam it would cost me £40 which is £5 too much for me (40-50 pounds is the price you would pay for a console game not a pc game).
You may want to wait a while for it to drop in price if you cant afford it right now. It is worth it though.
