Closing Down Website

I would like to announce the closure of Fort Apache Squad Website
The thing is I think I've lost interest in this site as the traffic has remained stagnant and
I think those users will eventually lose interest in the site as well
(I think they can sense when the owner i.e. myself has lost interest and it rubs off on them).
So I'm kind of leaning towards pulling the trigger and shutting it down so I can focus my,
energy and efforts on some other kind of website which I believe have more traffic and,
longevity potential. Not to mention less effort to maintain.
The thing that's holding me back is the amount of effort I've already put into this site and,
the face that those few loyal users may be disappointed with this decision.

Sorry to hear that Wolf but I do understand where you are coming from. Is there much you have to do on a daily basis to keep this site running?

It will be a shame to see it go as there is lots of great history here (as there was on the old Fas website as well). I respect your decision though and thanks for everything you've done in running the clan. You did a great job keeping things going and it was an honor to play with you.

Yeah...it's sad to hear this, but you got to do what you got to do and move on. It was a pleasure to be part of this train ride. Thank you all for everything specially for the good and fun times that we had.

How can we maintain contact with each other and arrange some AA3 get together once in a while?

I will see if we can use the old forum and make you guys in charge of it
This one has been kind of hard to have extra admins and to keep it going
I will keep a copy on my backup for the future we never know
If any one has the web address of the old forum i will like to have it

Hey guys,

again I know I haven't been active at all but I did really enjoy all the great times and memories that I've had with all of you. In our prime, we were the top clan to beat and had some great friendships. It's sad to see it go downhill but all good things must end i guess.

make then admin. This board has not been use since
2007 but is working

I'm working on keeping this web but moving it to a different location
with less bandwidth and less storage space
as subjected by a few users

It's always a shame to see great clans leave 2.5. I haven't seen you guys in a lil while but closing down a site just seems so... final. :Armataz06:

Good luck doing whatever you guys decide to do, I'm sure you'll be great at it.

Special thanks to Lazerboy2000 for helping everyone with Punkbuster stuff throughout the years. You didn't have to do it but it sure did help and didn't go unnoticed.

Yes and inactivity is not good so if you can run it on a free host or maybe just costing alot less will be just as good. But as mentioned Steam is best option for general chat and voice...

Don’t play AA3 but I do play 2.85 and 2.5
Steam is not for lots of us
What we need everyone to get involve and post in this website
Anything we can think of not only about AA topics
If you read wolf post he has spent lots of work on this web to let it go
But he can also change it to anything else beside AA that what I understand
